Brief Bio
Hsiang-lin Yeh received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from St. Petersburg State University. She is currently an associate professor of the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures at National Chengchi University. Her research focuses on the linguistic study of emotion and the conceptualization of emotions in Russian literary works. She also works on cross-linguistic studies to reveal the language and cultural specificity of Russian.
Brief Bio
Melissa Shih-hui Lin received her Ph.D. in General Linguistics from Charles University in Prague in 2002. From 2003 to 2011, she taught at the Department of Indigenous Languages and Communication at Donghwa University. Currently, she is a professor at the Department of Slavic Languages and Literature at Chengchi University. Her research interests are sociolinguistics, Czech, and Taiwan indigenous languages.
Brief Bio
Jennifer Yi-ling Lin received her Ph.D. in Information Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. She is an associate professor of the Department of Management Information Systems at National Chengchi University. Her research focuses on human-machine interaction (HCI), text mining, and recommender systems.
Tzu-Lan Yu
Brief Bio
I received my master’s degree in the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures from National Chengchi University. My research specialty was the Russian language. I have been helping with Russian data transcription since my bachelor years. I helped to collect written and spoken data from Taiwanese students and Russian native speakers, and to set up the corpus and analyze it.

I received my master’s degree in the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures from National Chengchi University. As a member of the LCSL project, I mainly helped recruit participants and collect and input data. It’s really great to have the opportunity to take part in this research project!
Hsi-Tong Ting

I graduated from the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Chengchi University and currently studying Master’s Program in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at Chengchi University. In the Learner Corpus project, I mainly helped recruit participants, gathering, organizing, and analyzing data. By joining this project, I got the chance to know how a corpus was built. It is a brand-new, amazing, and interesting experience for me. It’s lucky for me to join the team!

I received my bachelor's degree in Slavic Languages & Literatures from National Chengchi University. Besides Russian studies, I’m good at visual design. In the LCSL project, I mainly helped with linguistic data analysis and logo design.

I graduated from the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at National Chengchi University, and I also studied at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic for one year. In this LCSL project, I was mainly in charge of collecting and sorting out the Czech data.
Matyáš Havel

I graduated from the Department of International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague, and the Department of Sinology, at Charles University. I attended an intensive course at the Chinese Language Center NCCU in 2019/2020. Since I am a native speaker of Czech, I helped with the Czech spoken corpus transcription.

Ching-Chih is a senior student in Management Information Systems at National Chengchi University. Her research interests focus on Human-AI Interaction and User Experience. She is a member of the Russian and Czech language error annotation system development team in this project.

Brief Bio
An Lu is currently a student studying in the Department of Management Information System. His research focuses on cloud native and data performance issues. He is also an international open-source software developer, dedicated to solving data silos and big data challenges through data integration and large language models.

Currently, I am doing my Master's Degree at the Graduate Institute of Taiwan History, National Taiwan Normal University. In the LCSL project, my work mainly consisted of collecting Russian language corpus, organising the data, and conducting the preliminary analysis of the collected data. I am honoured to have the opportunity to participate in the LCSL project!
